Foiling

Hot foil printing will add value and a perhaps a personal touch to products and provides a unique finishing touch. Greeting cards are probably the biggest user of foiling. From a subtle understated flourish to full-on bling, it caters for all tastes.

A hot foil die is attached to the machine and heated up. The foil is placed between the die and the product to be printed. Pressure is then applied to the machine to bring the two briefly together to adhere the foil to the substrate.

Foil printing is a great way to add a luxury feel to items like letterheads, business cards, Invitations and flyers. Although it’s more expensive than your typical print run, the foil effect transfers a sense of bling and flair that’s perfect for higher end brands.
